CompassHx Offers New Health Data Insights to Marketers

Written by Reed Robinson | Apr 21, 2015 12:30:53 PM

Marketers draw from all kinds of customer data to influence campaigns and better reach intended audiences. Today's interconnected world offers more consumer information than ever, from demographics and psychographics, to Facebook likes and Amazon carts. It only makes sense that healthcare data be brought into the fold as well, which is where CompassHx comes in.

Marketing professionals will find that most data normally available paints an incomplete picture of the world of healthcare, as it draws from constrained sources like Medicare and Medicaid. CompassHx compiles data from an exclusive, comprehensive set of sources, while providing easy access with a user-friendly interface. It then becomes simple for marketers to make the connections between data and insights, using easy to create  visualizations and reports to discover and share insights with others, and ultimately make the best use of any particular market's health care data. We asked CompassHx to give us a glimpse into their company before their participation at Beta.MN 2.0.

Tell us the story of how and why you started your company.

CompassHx started as a concept to help make valuable health data more accessible for small- to medium-size companies, startups, and non-medical related industries. People have used demographics and psychographics to help target their customers; we are hoping to add "healthographics" to the mix.
