Beta/Bridge spans the gap between startup and corporate communities

The Twin Cities Metro Area is home to one of the nation's greatest concentration of Fortune 500 companies per capita. We're also hosts to a burgeoning startup scene that some are calling the Startup Capital of the North. When combined, these communities produce goods and services that impact the global economy.

With that in mind, the Beta.MN team is proud to introduce it's newest endeavor – Beta/Bridge. Beta/Bridge is designed to bring together the Twin Cities’ top movers-n-shakers from its startup and corporate communities. The idea is pretty simple – Beta reaches out to its trusted corporate contacts, interviews interested startup founders, puts everyone in the same room and plays matchmaker to see what happens.

The event will give startup companies the opportunity to ask key questions, pitch their products/services and engage with their corporate peers in a one-on-one format. Each corporate representative will be given the opportunity to learn more about the startups, which we hope will translate into more meaningful connections - becoming a customer, advisory roles, strategic investments, etc.

The list of corporate participants is set - on September 10th select startups will have the opportunity to pitch to key strategic representatives from Target, United Health Group, Medtronic, Best Buy, 3M, Boston Scientific, Microsoft and General Mills.

Now here's where you come in - if you are a founder that would like to be one of those fortunate startups, please click here to apply. Or, if you know someone that may be interested in something like this, please feel free to spread the word. Applications will be accepted through August 28th.
