Matt Otterstatter, Joel Stewart and Marty Wetherall saw drone racing and envisioned a world of possibilities for new sports with video built in. From there, Hydra FPV was born. In 2017, the team started holding drone race events at taprooms to test their hypotheses while piquing public interest in the very first “vSport”.
Along the way, they’ve learned to not fall in love with their ideas, but with their customers. To this end, they plan to continue doubling typical attendance figures at their taproom done racing events over the next year while successfully building drone racing into the ultimate spectator sport.
