Quill Security Technology was founded to eliminate bias in the security industry, building resilience into physical spaces.
As a physical security consultant working with city, county, and state governments, Lindsay Woolward recognized that the paper reports he delivered couldn’t keep pace with the rapidly evolving security landscape his clients faced. Lindsay brought this problem to Lewis Werner, who had spent years refining enterprise SaaS for companies like SPS Commerce & Oracle.
Together, Lindsay and Lewis used savvy algorithm design to prove they could transform a security world dominated by back-of-the-envelope calculations and months-long assessment projects into one where security risk is calculated instantly and the best path forward is always clear.
After building a proof-of-concept, Lindsay and Lewis asked Dustin Saunders, a full-stack developer, to join as Quill’s third founder. Together, Lindsay, Lewis, and Dustin complete the industry-business-technology trifecta necessary to bring Quill to market.
What's your most recent success or milestone hit?
We have launched our MVP which is being actively deployed with our initial partner. Upon first walk-through, our partner said that Quill is, “a game changer” for security management - a smart phone in a landline world.
Where do you see your startup in 1 year?
We will have on-boarded two dozen clients and hundreds of individual facilities while expanding the product from a revolutionary informational tool to a daily essential for precise, effective, proactive physical security management.
