"According to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, 95 percent of all American’s live within an hour’s drive of a navigable body of water but only 1 out of 10 households own a boat to put on that body of water.

Float introduces a peer-to-peer boat rental platform that not only allows everyone access to “lake life” without the added cost of ownership, but gives boat owners a way to recoup some of the added cost for their seasonal recreation."
