Since the early days of the smartphone, Jared Sieling had worked with researchers at universities and hospitals around the country to develop apps that would deliver remote patient assessments and interventions. The benefits of these digital solutions were becoming obvious, but for various reasons they weren't widely available to healthcare providers and their patients. Recognizing the opportunity, Jared moved to bring this technology to the masses, and Chanl Health is the result of those efforts.
Chanl Health works with care teams at hospitals and clinics to help them deliver their care plans to patients through a mobile app. Additionally, by automatically pulling in and analyzing data from other brands of trackers and monitors that patients use, the platform is able to enhance the care plan and give concrete feedback to both the patients and their care team. The technology not only increases patient adherence and satisfaction, but also helps improve actual health outcomes.
The company is currently in talks to partner with local hospitals, and looking to launch multiple pilots this summer. Sieling has his sights set on further product development, and within the year he expects to release a fully-developed offering.
Chanl Health will join 11 other startups at the upcoming Beta.MN / Showcase event on March 30, held at the Machine Shop. The event will run from 5:30-8pm CT, and tickets are moving fast. Reserve your spot today!
