The story of how and why you started your company.
The concept of Jobiki came out of my (Alex’s) own struggle with the job search during college. Although I didn’t know what I wanted to do exactly, I knew the type of company I wanted to work for. That’s when I convinced my older brother, Nathan, to join my vision for a new way to look for work. After spending months researching and meeting with both job seekers and recruiters, we launched our platform.
What’s your most recent success or milestone hit?
We are always humbled by the emails and messages we receive from our users about how important the right company is and how thankful they are for our platform. We are most proud of being revenue generating as of Jan 2019!
Where do you see your startup in a year?
In a year, we would like to see ourselves building a movement that gets rid of the idea that the best way to find a job is to apply to as many as possible. We want to have an offering that proves a job seeker will be more successful and fulfilled in their work by finding the right company fit first.
