In the months that followed, I saw how difficult it was to do the job search or find a retraining program alone. I also saw how support from a career counselor could have been transformational, but was too often sporadic, impersonal, or prohibitively expensive. Fortunately, as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, I knew that telemedicine was solving these very same challenges in the healthcare industry — making care ongoing, personalized, and affordable. Applied to career services, I knew this technology could change lives. I called my now-co-founder Nick, who I had interned with at the White House, and we got to work! **What's your most recent success or milestone hit?** Beyond getting into the Spring 2019 BETA cohort?!?
