That is the world Eric Taipale and Greg Emerick set out to create. The duo combines backgrounds in drone technology, software development, agriculture solutions, and electronics manufacturing. Bring those pieces together, and the result is Sentera, the drone-fueled solutions company that brings industries like agriculture, infrastructure inspection, and public safety into the 21st century. Drones are the technology of the now, helping capture aerial photography, survey mass plots of land, and view structures at previously impossible vantage points. Sentera is the simple, elegant integration of camera hardware, software, and drone technology, offering tools that include infrared imaging to assess chlorophyll levels, 4K video capture, and FAA-certified drone pilots. Sentera is a modern, state-of-the-art technology company that offers en-to-end drone solutions for all industries. Now a team of 23, Sentera has grabbed headlines across the nation, earning mentions on major media networks like ABC and NBC, as well as publications like sUAS News and Farm Industry News. Recently, Sentera added several key features that led to the start-up becoming the first company to capture images spanning 25 million acres. Sentera will be one of 12 startups on display at the upcoming Beta.MN / Showcase on Thursday, March 30. The event will be held at the Machine Shop, running from 5:30-8pm CT.
