Put a "Make a Difference" Button In Your Hand with Goodpin

Jay Baydala has always wanted to improve the world. Fifteen years ago, he attempted to do so, founding an online charity that allowed people to donate small amounts of money towards specific projects. Jay watched project after project reach completion on his computer screen, attributing the success to what he coined “New Generation” charity - an online platform, small donations and visual evidence that those donations were making a difference.

In the 10 years following, Jay watched as the world became more and more familiar with mobile communication. Seizing an opportunity, he set out to put a “make a difference” button in every hand. Founding Goodpin with the help of Scott Lawrence and Ryan McDonald, Jay removed all the barriers between the moment a person wants to change the world and their ability to do so.

The Goodpin team has learned that it takes all of us to remake the world. By bringing people, brands and charities together, they have the means to make the world a better place, focusing on giving each stakeholder more for their giving.

Having found that people are overwhelmingly interested in receiving brand money as an incentive to contribute to charities, Goodpin recently completed a pilot test, giving branded incentives for people to donate to their favorite charities.

Come learn more about the Goodpin initiative at the upcoming Beta.MN / Showcase event, Sept. 19 from 5:30-8pm at the Target Commons. Get your tickets today, before they run out!
